NORFOLK, Va. — Crews responded to a brush fire in Norfolk Wednesday afternoon.
The fire happened at 2825 Villa Circle, which is by the Lafayette River and near the Lindenwood area of the city. Firefighters got there shortly after noon and confirmed a large brush fire was threatening several structures, according to Norfolk Fire-Rescue.
After more firefighters got there, crews were able to get the flames under control before 12:30 p.m.
No one was hurt and no buildings were affected. Officials didn't say what caused the fire.
