NORFOLK, Va. — A woman in Ocean View has died after a pedestrian crash on Tuesday night.
The Norfolk Police Department said they were called to the 300 block of E. Ocean View Avenue around 7:40 p.m. Tuesday. A woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
She died as a result of her injuries.
The accident is currently under investigation. As of 9 p.m. Tuesday, police have taped off E. Ocean View Avenue at Wells Parkway. Drivers can expect impacts and delays in the area.
Authorities have not yet revealed the woman’s identity but said they will once her next of kin has been notified.
The driver of the car remained at the scene.
