NORFOLK, Va. — Dozens of artists and performers will soon light up the NEON District in downtown Norfolk.

The 8th Annual NEON Festival will illuminate both Thursday and Friday nights between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.

"Some of Norfolk’s brightest musicians, comedians and performance artists will converge on the NEON to energize streets and stages throughout the district," according to the event's website.

Then on Friday night, the d'Art Center and the Commune and the Copeland Center are holding pop-up art galleries. For more fun, attendees can head to The Plot, Push Comedy and the Cofer Lot.

Since its inception in 2015, over 500 artists and performers have participated in the festival.
