NORFOLK, Va. — The NEON District in downtown Norfolk is hosting a holiday shopping market today.
Almost 50 local crafters, vendors and artists will be at The Plot located at 776 Granby Street today from noon until 4 p.m.
Along with opportunities to shop for holiday presents, the event will also have entertainment from local singers Jonah Ross and Jasper Smith, adult beverages from Smartmouth Brewing Company, sweet and savory treats and family-friendly activities.
“The NEON Holiday Market is a fun and festive way to bring NEON’s unique personality to the holiday season in Downtown Norfolk,” said Rachel McCall, vice president of Downtown Norfolk Council.
Vendors at the event include African Violet Candle Co, Better Than Your Bandana, Virginia Pie Shop, His & Hers Soap Company and many more.
Those coming to the vent can expect to find unique art, crafts, holiday decorations, vintage items, jewelry, and more. The Plot will be decorated for the season and might even feature "a hidden elf door".
