NORFOLK, Va. — A multi-vehicle crash closed multiple east lanes on I-64 in Norfolk Friday morning.
Traffic is moving more steadily after a multi-vehicle crash in Norfolk.
According to VDOT the multi-vehicle crash near the Willoughby Bay Bridge was causing delays. VDOT cameras showed that the backups extended past Rip Rap Road and were at least 3 miles at 6 a.m.
VDOT said the east left shoulder and left lane are closed at the scene of the accident.
We contacted Virginia State Police for more information on the incident but haven't heard back at the time of publishing.
