NORFOLK, Va. — The NorVa in Downtown Norfolk and the Norfolk Animal Care Center are partnering for a pet supplies drive. Those donating could get the chance to see the alternative rock band Dogstar, with Keanu Reeves on bass.
From December 6 through 13, NorVa and the Norfolk Animal Care Center are hosting a pet supplies drive. Those donating during the week will be entered to win a pair of tickets to see the alternative rock band Dogstar on Saturday, December 16, including an exclusive soundcheck experience.
You can donate on Paypal or deliver supplies directly to the Norfolk Animal Care Center to enter.
The band is composed of Bret Domrose as guitarist and vocalist, Rob Mailhouse on drums and bassist Keanu Reeves, who started a 25-plus date headline world tour in August.
The show is currently sold out at the box office, but a limited amount of tickets might become available at Norva's website, or you could be a lucky winner while also helping care for pets in need.
The Norfolk Animal Care Center is the city of Norfolk's animal sheltering facility. On average they care for 400 to 600 animals each month, and over 5000 animals a year.
