NORFOLK, Va. — A multi-vehicle crash involving a dump truck has closed lanes on I-64 West in Norfolk.
All westbound lanes near Virginia Beach Boulevard were closed and traffic backups spanned miles long. Some lanes remain closed, but traffic is once again flowing.
Virginia State Police said the crash happened just before 10 a.m. at mile marker 282. Investigators said the crash involved a dump truck and three vehicles, and that there was also property damage as a result of the accident.
There's no word at this time on what may have led to the crash or if anyone is hurt.
