One person hurt, three in custody at home on Glenrock Road in Norfolk

Officers were called to a home for a possible hostage/barricade situation, but police said that turned out to not be the case.

NORFOLK, Va. — A police investigation is underway in Norfolk after officers were called to a home for a possible hostage/barricade situation on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Norfolk Police Department, officers went to the 500 block of Glenrock Road around 4:20 p.m., near Poplar Hall Drive and the Military Circle Mall site. Investigators determined that it was not a hostage/barricade situation, however a man had suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have not said how the man was injured or what exactly transpired at the home, however, they did say three persons of interest have been detained at the scene.
