NORFOLK, Va. — At least one person is hurt following a fiery crash on Interstate 264 in Norfolk early Sunday morning, Virginia State Police (VSP) said.
The two-vehicle collision happened in the westbound lanes at mile marker 13 near the exit for Military Highway.
VSP has not said what led up to the crash or released the condition of the person injured.
Video of the scene captured by 13News Now Meteorologist Craig Moeller shows flames fully engulfing a vehicle. Another vehicle is seen nearby with its rear end smashed.
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) declared the scene cleared shortly after 6:30 a.m. Traffic has since resumed as normal.
An investigation is underway.
