NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk police are working to determine how a crash happened between a school bus and a car that sent one person to the hospital.
The crash happened at Tidewater Drive and Cromwell Road. Officers were sent to that location around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Five students and another person were on board the bus, heading to Willard Elementary School when the accident happened.
One driver sustained serious injuries and no one on the school bus was injured.
Another bus was sent to the crash scene to pick up the students and take them to school. A Norfolk Public Schools spokesperson says all the kids arrived to school safely.
No other details have been released at this time.
