NORFOLK, Va. — A driver is facing a charge after driving off the roadway and barreling into a handicamp ramp attached to a Norfolk home over the weekend, police confirmed Thursday.
The vehicle crashed into the home located in the 3600 block of Montgomery Street near Chesapeake Boulevard at around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, according to the Norfolk Police Department.
The resident of the home told 13News Now that the crash destroyed her ramp and partially collapsed her front porch.
The driver was arrested on a failure to maintain control charge but has since been released on a summons.
No one was reported hurt by the crash.
