NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk Fire & Rescue is responding to a gas leak in the Chesterfield Heights section of the city on Thursday morning.
The leak is located in the 2800 block of Stanhope Avenue. As a safety precaution, some of the homes in the immediate area were temporarily evacuated. The department didn't say what caused the leak.
Traffic may be restricted in the area.
No other information was immediately available.
