NORFOLK, Va. — Nine train cars derailed at the Lamberts Point terminal in Norfolk on Wednesday morning, officials with Norfolk Southern confirmed to 13News Now.
The company said all the train cars were empty at the time of the derailment. There were no hazardous materials on the cars, according to officials. No one was hurt.
Officials didn't say what caused the derailment to happen. Details are limited, but 13News Now is working to gather more information.
