4 displaced after apartment fire in Norfolk, officials say

The scene was at 815 Goff Street. That's in the Huntersville section of the city.

NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk Fire-Rescue responded to a kitchen fire early Thursday morning that left several people displaced. 

According to officials, firefighters first got to the scene and saw smoke after receiving reports of an apartment complex fire around 2 a.m. 

The scene was at 815 Goff Street. That's in the Huntersville section of the city. 

They declared the fire at 2:24 a.m., and it was mostly under control by 2:45 a.m.

No one was hurt in the fire, but an adult and three children were displaced and will be helped by the Red Cross. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
