NORFOLK, Va. — Two people are out of their Norfolk home after a fire broke out Monday, Norfolk Fire-Rescue (NFR) confirmed.
The fire happened at a home on Walters Drive. According to fire officials, it was caused by a space heater on the second floor of the house.
The fire was under control in 20 minutes, and there were no reported injuries. However, two occupants and a dog were displaced. They won't be needing Red Cross assistance.
