NORFOLK, Va. — An 11-year-old girl has been injured in an assault, Norfolk Police Department (NPD) said.
NPD responded to a call reporting a stabbing at a home in the 3700 block of Peterson Street around 4:30 p.m. When officers arrived they found an 11-year-old girl suffering from a non-life-threatening wound to her leg. She was transported to the hospital.
No suspects have been named.
