NORFOLK, Va. — One person was injured and three people were displaced after a house fire, the Norfolk Fire Rescue (NFR) said.
Crews responded to a house fire at the 2900 block of South Cape Henry Avenue at 3:03 a.m.
When firefighters arrived they found smoke and flames coming from a two-story home. They were able to stop the fire from spreading and called fire control at 3:34 a.m.
One occupant was injured and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Three people were displaced. The Red Cross is assisting.
NFR is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
