NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — UPDATE: Newport News police say that Shelia Bryant has been found safe.

Newport News Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing "endangered" adult.
Police say that 55-year-old Shelia Bryant was last seen around 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the 500th block of Genneys Way.
She is considered endangered due to a medical condition. She is black, about 5 foot 7 inches, 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She has a rose tattoo on her chest.
She was last seen wearing a long black jacket with fur around the neck.
