NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A woman is dead following a shooting in Newport News on Saturday night.
Officers were dispatched to the 12000 block of Nettles Drive at 8:11 p.m. in reference to a shooting, according to an online post.
They found a woman in a vehicle with at least one gunshot wound, the post stated. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There is no suspect information at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
