NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — The Newport News Fire Department (NNFD) responded to a crash into a commercial building Tuesday.
Crews responded to the business on Jefferson Avenue near Dresden Drive for a vehicle into a commercial building.
Two people were injured and rushed to a hospital where officials say they are in stable condition.
NNFD said its Technical Rescue Team secured the structure so the vehicle could be removed from the building.
Officials have released what led up to the crash, saying the investigation is ongoing.
The crash caused businesses at the shopping complex to lose water.
