NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WVEC) -- On Sunday, a fundraiser in the memory of Newport News Officer Kevin Ryder is being held.

Ryder passed away on April 1, 2017 following complications after a motorcycle accident.

The fundraiser is being held at the Quaker Steak and Lube in Newport News from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It's dedicated to raising funds for the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge Number 25.

Quaker Steak and Lube is donating 10 percent of all food sales during the event.

There will be raffle tickets, games, music, and a blessing of the bikes given by Minister Tom Pringle from Bikers for Christ.

Everyone is invited to come out.
