NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Two buses collided in Newport News Thursday morning.
Newport News police say that just after 8:30 a.m., they responded to a report of a vehicle crash in the area of 28th Street and Marshall Avenue.
Police investigations revealed that two school buses, one carrying children and one which wasn't, crashed at the intersection of 28th and Marshall.
A photo obtained by 13News Now shows one of the buses nearly crashed into a home afterward.
There were no major injuries reported. One bus driver was issued a citation for running a red light.
Police say the investigation is ongoing. Traffic is blocked in all directions.
