NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — The Newport News Police Department (NNPD) still needs the public's help in finding now 43-year-old James Philip Allen more than a year and a half after he disappeared.
Allen was last seen at the north tower of Windward Towers on Aug. 13, 2022. Allen was 41 at the time of his disappearance. An Ashanti alert was issued for him in September of 2022. Police say Allen disappeared under suspicious circumstances.
Police say Allen is about 5'10", weighs 165 pounds, and has blue eyes and brown hair. He has a scar over his eye and another on his chin.
In a statement on social media, NNPD shared that they are still seeking assistance in locating Allen.
