NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WVEC) -- A 64-year-old man has died after he was hit by a car in Newport News.
The crash happened at 5:31 p.m. on November 9.
Dispatch received a call about a pedestrian involved accident at Denbigh Boulevard and Warwick Boulevard.
Police say John Smith III was struck by a car traveling southbound on Warwick Boulevard.
The female driver who struck Smith remained on the scene. The accident is still under investigation.
