NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — The Newport News Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person dead.
On Sunday, police were called to the 1100 block of 28th Street at 9:45 pm. Upon arrival, officers found 29-year-old Godfrey Junior Davidson with multiple gunshot wounds. He died on the scene, police say.
