Newport News man last seen in Richmond may be in danger

Police have issued a "critically missing adult alert" for Eric Lamont Lamb. Investigators believe his health and safety may be at risk.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Virginia State Police issued a "critically missing adult alert" early Friday morning for a Newport News man who was last seen in the Richmond area Thursday afternoon.

The alert was issued on behalf of the Newport News Police Department, which is investigating Eric Lamont Lamb's disappearance. Investigators believe his health and safety may be at risk.

Lamb was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Thursday on Hull Street near the intersection with Cowardin Avenue.

He is 57-years-old, 6-foot-1 and about 165 pounds. He also has brown eyes and is bald. 

Police don't know what he was wearing at the time he went missing, but the believe he may be driving a 2021 Nissan Versa with Virginia plates that read "TPE-1972."

If you see him or have any information on his whereabouts within the last few days, investigators ask that you call the NNPD at 757-247-2500.
