NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A man is in the hospital after being wounded in a shooting in Newport News early Monday morning, according to Newport News police.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 12900 block of Biltmore Court around 3:41 a.m.
When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot inside a home. The gunshot wound was non-life threatening and the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Police said there is no suspect information.
