NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WVEC) -- Police say they have identified the man who was found floating in a pond near a Newport News apartment complex, but the circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation.
The body of 22-year-old Alex Celante Harris was recovered Thursday in a retention pond by the Villages of Stoney Run apartment complex.
Police say Harris had drowned, but the manner of death -- if it were a homicide, suicide, or accident -- is still pending the outcome of the investigation.
