NORFOLK, Va. — Today is the day: Much of the United States will see a total solar eclipse on Monday afternoon, where the moon will block the sun for several minutes, casting a shadow on our planet.
The eclipse will begin in the Hampton Roads area around 2 p.m., peak around 3:20 p.m. and then come to an end at 4:30 p.m.
