NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A federal grand jury has indicted an alleged member of the Bloods gang with a murder that happened three years ago.
21-year-old Luke Dudley was shot and killed inside a Newport News rooming house in January of 2017. A tenant found Dudley's front door kicked in and police went inside to find Dudley suffering from several gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.
According to the indictment, 26-year-old Dawhan Terrell Archible and two unnamed co-conspirators killed Dudley after learning he had cheated Archible during a previous drug transaction.
Archible is charged with use of a firearm resulting in death, conspiracy to interfere with commerce by robbery, attempt to interfere with commerce by robbery, conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine, and distribution of cocaine.
If convicted, Archible could face up to life in prison.
