HAMPTON, Va. — The Hampton Police Division is investigating shots fired early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Woodland Drive about shots fired at about 2:42 a.m., according to Hampton Police Division Public Information Officer Cpl. Shaun Stalnaker.
Officers checked the area and did not find any people or property that had been struck by bullets, Stalnaker said.
Stalnaker was not able to provide more details due to the active investigation. “Officers did recover evidence from the scene,” he said. “The motive and circumstances are unknown at this time.”
