Second person dies days after crash in Hampton

Hampton police said Davey Budden, Jr., 18, died after a wreck at Magruder Boulevard on February 11. Stanley Huddleston, 64, died five days later.

HAMPTON, Va. — Hampton police said a second man died, days after his car collided with another one at Magruder Boulevard and Semple Farm Road.

Officers said the wreck happened around 9:20 a.m. on February 11 and shut down part of the roadway in the area for several hours. That included a portion of Hampton Highway which Magruder becomes at the Hampton-York County line.

Eighteen-year-old Davy Budden, Jr. of York County died at the hospital later that day. The second driver, 64-year-old Stanley Huddleston of York County, died at the hospital on February 16.
