HAMPTON, Va. — A man has been assaulted with a knife in Hampton Monday morning.
Hampton Police say that around 10:25 a.m. in the 100 block of Michigan Drive, a 24-year-old man from Hampton was visiting a friend when he was approached by the suspect.
The suspect approached the victim and stabbed him with a knife, then fled on foot.
Police say this appears to be an isolated incident and the victim and suspect are known to each other.
23-year-old Khamari Dontrell Hunter of Newport News is wanted in connection to the incident. He is wanted on one count of Maiming.
