HAMPTON, Va. — Air Power Park has relaunched in Hampton!
The park's reopening on Saturday morning kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The free 15-acre park showcases Hampton's contributions to air travel and space exploration. The park displays restored aircraft and spacecraft as both indoor and outdoor exhibits for visitors.
Hampton Mayor Donnie Tuck was in attendance for its reopening on Saturday.
"I think it’s unique," Tuck said. "There are not many cities that have this combination of exhibits. That's why I think it's something that really... means a lot to our residents."
You can find Air Power Park at 413 Mercury Boulevard. Its outdoor exhibits are open from sunrise to sunset and indoor exhibits are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
