HAMPTON, Va. — Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting, the Hampton Police Department (HPD) said.
On July 20, HPD responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 500 block of Aberdeen Road at 12:54 a.m.
When officers arrived at the crime scene and then began their investigation, they said Riverside Hospital reported a walk-in gunshot victim.
According to police, the man was leaving the store when he heard gunshots. As he drove off, he realized he had been shot and was then taken to the hospital.
HPD is still investigating this incident.
