HAMPTON, Va. — The Hampton Police Division is looking for a man wanted in connection to a shooting that took place April 28.
Around 1:15 a.m., Emergency Communications received a 911 call about a shooting in the 1st block of Mary Peake Boulevard.
Once on the scene, responding officers found a 36-year-old Hampton man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers have already arrested 32-year-old Gene Mozelle, Jr. in connection to the shooting. He was charged with maiming, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, shooting across a public roadway, and shooting at an occupied dwelling.
Now, officers are trying to find Bobby Rasoola Mozelle. Police said he has warrants on file for malicious wounding, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and one count of Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling.
Police consider Bobby to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
