HAMPTON, Va. — Hampton police are looking for a suspect in connection to a shooting that happened Tuesday night.
The investigation began around 9 p.m. when Hampton dispatchers got a report of a shooting in the 1st block of Ashwood Drive.
Investigators believe that a 24-year-old Yorktown man approached a vehicle that stopped in the street. After an argument, the suspect shot the Yorktown man several times and then fled.
The victim was taken to a hospital by Hampton Fire and Rescue with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.
Police haven't released any suspect information.
