HAMPTON, Va. — One person has died in a Hampton shooting on Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting happened in the 1500 block of North King Street, according to a press release from the Hampton Police Division. It was reported at 4:11 p.m.
Officers arrived and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds inside an apartment. Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue transported both men to a hospital. One succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The other has been deemed to have non-life-threatening injuries.
Members of the Hampton Police Division’s Major Crimes Unit are investigating the motives and circumstances surrounding this incident.
