HAMPTON, Va. — Police are investigating a homicide early Friday morning, the Hampton Police Division said.
HPD responded to a shooting in the 300 block of West Chamberlin Avenue around 12:36 a.m.
When officers arrived they found a 48-year-old man suffering from a serious gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
No suspects have been named.
Police are still investigating this incident.
