HAMPTON, Va. — A firefighter was injured while battling a house fire Wednesday night, Hampton Fire & Rescue said.
Crews responded to a house fire in the 70th block of Cline Drive around 8:30 p.m. When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the garage and flames coming from the attic of the home.
No one was home at the time of the fire. No civilians were hurt, but a firefighter was injured while working to put out the fire.
The cause of the fire has not been determined and it remains under investigation at this time.
