HAMPTON, Va. — A 17-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection to a deadly shooting, the Hampton Police Division said.
On Aug. 10, officers responded to a report of multiple gunshots in the 8500 block of Orcutt Avenue around 1:31 a.m. When police arrived, they found a man, later identified as 20-year-old Amariyon Wilson, dead in the roadway.
After conducting an investigation, the Division arrested and charged a 17-year-old juvenile with one count of homicide, robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a juvenile.
