CHESAPEAKE, Va. — One of the lawsuits filed against Walmart after the 2022 Chesapeake mass shooting is over.
An attorney for Briana Tyler told 13News Now, that all claims have been resolved to her satisfaction and as a result, the case has been dismissed. Attorneys did not say how they resolved those claims.
In November 2022, a supervisor opened fire inside the Walmart on Sam’s Circle killing six employees.
Tyler survived the shooting and sued the company for 50 million dollars.
In her lawsuit, Tyler claimed the gunman chased her through the store almost hitting her. Tyler said she suffered both physical and mental trauma as a result of that night.
