CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Chesapeake firefighters responded to a call about a residential fire just after 10 a.m. this morning in the Deep Creek section of the city.
The resident of the home in the 3000 block of Troy Lane reported a possible fire in their attic after seeing smoke in their home. Six minutes later, when first responders arrived, they saw smoke rising from the roof line of the home.
Firefighters extinguished the fire around 10:45 a.m., and there were no injuries reported. However, the case of the fire is currently under investigation.
