CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WVEC) -- Virginia State Police (VSP) is investigating after a plane ran off a runway and crashed at Chesapeake Regional Airport.
VSP spokeswoman Michelle Anaya said the incident happened shortly before 11:10 a.m.
Two people were on board. No one was hurt.
The single-engine plane was leaking fuel.
Master Police Officer Kelly Elliott with the Chesapeake Police Department said a hazard materials crew was dispatched to help clean up the fuel.
