Chesapeake say missing woman who left hospital has been found

CPD says Gloria Moore Faulks, 69, left Chesapeake Regional Medical Center when around 4:55 a.m. Police say she has been found.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. — The Chesapeake Police Department (CPD) says a woman who went missing from a hospital early Friday has been found safely.

CPD said that 69-year-old Gloria Moore Faulks was involuntarily committed at the Chesapeake Regional Medical Center on Battlefield Boulevard N. when around 4:55 a.m. she ran out of the hospital headed across Battlefield Boulevard toward Knells Ridge Drive.

Police say Faulks has medical needs and mental health disorders that require medication.
