CHESAPEAKE, Va. — On Monday night just after 7:30 p.m., Chesapeake police were called to Atlantic Avenue in reference to a shooting.
When they arrived to the 1600 block of the street, they discovered an adult man who had been shot. The man was transported to a hospital with injuries described as "life-threatening."
