CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A man was hospitalized Monday night after he was injured in a shooting in Chesapeake, police confirmed.
According to the Chesapeake Police Department (CPD), it happened in the 3200 block of American Legion Road around 10:24 p.m. Officers found the man with a gunshot wound at the scene.
The man was brought to the hospital, and is expected to survive.
Police are investigating, and have not released any suspect information yet.
