CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A man is dead after a crash Wednesday evening in Chesapeake, police say.
Chesapeake police say they responded to the 4600 block of Backwoods Road off of Ballahack Road around 7:20 p.m. for a report of a single vehicle crash. The man driving the vehicle was the only occupant in the vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The Chesapeake Police Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident. Police did not release any other details about the circumstances of the crash or make of the car.
