CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Exoticon, formerly known as Hampton Roads Reptile Expo, has evolved into an event that brings a number of animals, breeders, and vendors from across the nation.
"Exoticon Exotic Pet Expo has every animal enthusiast covered," according to event organizers.
From pets like ferrets and hamsters to reptiles and even arachnids, there will be hundreds of species on display at the Chesapeake Conference Center on Saturday and Sunday.
"Come on out and spend the day seeing these not-so-typical pets up close. The whole family will love it," the event's website reads.
Admission is $10 for anyone older than 10 while children age 10 and younger are free. Tickets are purchased at the door.
The reptile expo first launched in 2012.
