CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A teenager was injured during a shooting in Chesapeake on Saturday night.
Shortly after 8 p.m., Chesapeake Police Department responded to the area of Holly Cove Drive and Schooner Trail due to calls about gunshots heard. They confirmed someone was shot in the alley of the 4100 block of Schooner Trail, but the victim left the scene before officers arrived and later showed up at a hospital for treatment.
The victim is a teenaged male, and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
